HAOMEI aluminum bottle caps are produced using CNC machining technology, with the 28mm outer diameter tolerance strictly controlled within ±0.05mm. The inner diameter of the cap perfectly matches the thread of mainstream mineral water bottles. Equipped with customized sealing liners (commonly made of food-grade PE or EVA), the assembled caps form a tight sealing structure that effectively blocks air, dust, and microorganisms. Even when inverted or shaken, no leakage occurs, ensuring the water remains pure and fresh from production to consumption.
28mm is an international standard size that fits most mineral water bottle necks with 28mm PCO 1881 threads (or other similar standards such as PCO 1810). This means that both cap manufacturers and preform manufacturers use mature standard molds, eliminating the need for customization and ensuring a stable supply chain. In addition, the caps are fully compatible with automated bottling lines. The positioning groove reserved on the top of the cap enables high-speed and precise capping, meeting bottling speeds of 800-1200 bottles per minute, suitable for large-scale production.
The 28mm water bottle cap features a plastic ring connected to the aluminum shell by breakable points. When tightened, the cap and bottle neck interlock firmly. In its unopened state, the ring and shell appear integrated. During first opening, the breakable points tear apart, leaving the ring on the bottle neck, providing a clear tamper-evident function that prevents counterfeit and unsafe products from entering the market.
The inner liner of the 28mm aluminum-plastic cap is commonly made of food-grade polyethylene (PE), embedded inside the aluminum cap, in direct contact with the bottle neck to ensure reliable sealing.
The sides of the cap are usually designed with anti-slip knurling, making it easy for consumers to open. Aluminum alloys 3105 and 8011 provide excellent strength, ensuring the cap will not deform or crack under normal force.
