What is a ROPP Cap?
ROPP stands for Roll-On Pilfer Proof. These caps are made by mechanically rolling threads and a tamper-evident ring into an aluminum shell over the bottle neck. They are widely used in the packaging of wine, spirits, functional drinks, and edible oils—especially where high-level sealing and tamper resistance are required.
Aluminum ROPP caps are particularly well-suited for glass bottles with rigid necks. Common sizes include 28mm, 30.9mm, 31.5mm, and 38mm, accommodating a volume range from 50ml to 5L.
